FutureForCoppiceS - Spotted Quoll

FutureForCoppiceS aims at improving the knowledge basis for the development of future, sustainable forest management (SFM) of coppice forests in southern Europe.

Coppice forest covers ca. 23 million hectares in the Mediterranean area (about 3.7 million ha in Italy) and are barely considered in SFM scenarios. The project aims at demonstrating, by real datasets collected from a long-term experimental plots network, how different management approaches have actually favoured or limited the overall and the different sides of sustainability of coppice forests.
